The combination is the common horoscope of two people. It does not put two birth horoscopes side by side, but calculates a separate heaven: for the moment exactly in the middle of time between your births and for the place exactly in the middle between your birth places. This horoscope does not describe you or the other human being, but the third one that you are together: your connection itself.

That's how the middle is created

If, for example, your births are four years apart, the time of the combination is two years after the first birth, precisely calculated to the minute. The place is the center between your birthplaces on the globe. Time zone and summer time of both births are calculated by the computer before, just like the Radix. In the literature this method is called Davison Horoscope according to the British astrologer Ronald Davison.

Combined, composite and synastry

For two people, astrology knows three points of view. The synastry puts both birth horoscopes on top of each other and shows how your planets touch each other. The composit forms a computational center between your planets. Combining is a real sky at a real moment and in a real place. That's why it has its own houses, its own ascendant and its own transits that show what is being initiated in your connection.

What you enter

For both persons date of birth, place of birth and, if known, the time of birth. If a time is missing, the calculator starts at 12:00 local time and points out to you. Sun and the slow planets then remain reliable, Ascendant, houses and the moon of combination become more insecure. The more precise your times, the more precisely your common horoscope.

What the combination shows

You see the cosmic signature of your connection and all planets in signs and houses, with aspects and transits, either to Placidus or Koch. The Sun of Combining tells what your connection stands for, the Moon, what nourishes it and where it is vulnerable, the Ascendant, how you work together outwardly. Venus and Mars show how closeness and attraction live in this connection, Saturn, where it grows.

So you read your combo

Start with the three pillars of the Sun, Moon and Ascendant. Then see which houses are particularly occupied: They show in which areas of life your connection unfolds its strength, for example in everyday life, in a common home or in work. Close aspects to the sun or moon give the tone. Via transits you recognize phases in which your connection condenses or reorganizes.

For each type of connection

The combination works for couples as well as for friendships, parents and children or for people who work together. It doesn't ask if you fit together. It describes the quality of your connection and what is in it.

Interpretation and analysis

To the positions of combination you can unlock interpretations. If you want to understand both people and their interaction in depth, there are the Relationship analysis and the Friendship analysis as his own book.
