Yes. The basis of every analysis is the astronomically exact calculation of your birth sky, accurate to the second of arc. It is interpreted according to the rules of western, tropical astrology. Before delivery, each analysis goes through several stages of testing. Each statement is derived from your horoscope. You can view the table of contents and excerpts from each analysis before purchasing.
A newspaper horoscope only works with your sun sign and is therefore valid for one in twelve people. We calculate your complete birth sky: sun, moon and all planets in their signs and houses, ascendant and midheaven, lunar nodes, Chiron, Lilith and lucky point, plus all aspects and aspect figures. On this basis, our analyses create a deep interpretation that goes far beyond any ordinary horoscope: who you are, how you love, what supports you professionally, where your influences lie and what time windows lie ahead of you. Your heaven only exists once in exactly this composition.
No. Astrology is one of humanity's oldest knowledge systems. For centuries it was taught as a science in universities across Europe. To this day, its basis is exact astronomy; its interpretation follows a system that has evolved over thousands of years. The result should convince you. You read this in your own analysis.
No. Your birth horoscope shows your abilities, your talents and the qualities of time that lie ahead for you. You make the decisions. That's why each of our analyses ends with the same sentence: "You are the author of your life. This analysis is just the map."
Human Design is a system from the 1980s. It combines astrology with I Ching, Kabbalah and chakra theory and assigns people primarily to an energy type. Astromantie goes much deeper into you as a human: We interpret your complete birth chart with all planets, houses and aspects and show how you think, feel, love and decide, which influences control you, where your strengths and weaknesses lie and which time windows lie ahead of you. Instead of a type, you get a portrait that only fits you.
Both mean the same thing: the exact snapshot of the sky at the time of your birth, calculated for your birthplace. It shows which signs and houses the sun, moon and all planets were in, which sign rose on the eastern horizon and at what angles the planets were in relation to each other. “Radix” is Latin and means “root”. You can calculate your radix with us free of charge, in just a few seconds.
Your zodiac sign is the sign the sun was in when you were born. It describes your essence. Your moon sign describes your emotional world and what you need to feel safe. Your ascendant is the sign that rose on the eastern horizon when you were born. It shows how you approach the world and how others perceive you. For the ascendant you need your birth time because it changes about every two hours.
This can be determined exactly. The sun does not change signs on the same day every year, so the dates in magazines are only approximations. Our free calculator shows you what sign your sun was in, down to the minute. If you still recognize yourself in the neighboring sign, it is often because of Mercury or Venus: both are always close to the sun and often in the neighboring sign.
This message appears regularly, often together with a supposed 13th sign, the Ophiuchus. She confuses star signs with constellations. The twelve zodiac signs are equal sections of 30 degrees each, which are aligned with the seasons: Aries always begins with the beginning of spring. The constellations in the sky vary in size and have shifted over the millennia. Western astrology has been working with the zodiac signs for almost 2,000 years, and so have we. So your zodiac sign stays what it is. Indian astrology uses the constellations, which is why one sign usually appears earlier.
The sun sign alone says little about it. Whether two people are in harmony can only be seen by comparing the complete horoscopes: how the moons are related to each other, how Venus and Mars meet, which aspects arise between the two heavens. Any combination can work. Our free combination gives you a first impression, and the complete picture of your connection can be found in the partner analysis.
For two reasons. Firstly, just a few minutes apart will shift the ascendant and the houses, so two horoscopes are rarely exactly the same. Secondly, a horoscope describes dispositions. Every person lives it in their own way. Twins often divide the roles between themselves: one shows the courageous side of a disposition, the other the cautious one.
No. Retrograde means: From Earth, Mercury appears to be going backwards for a few weeks. This happens three to four times a year for about three weeks each time. Astrologically, this is a period of review, repair and resumption. Our recommendation: double-check contracts, back up data, plan buffers, and if possible, postpone new contracts and major technology purchases until later. The app shows you the exact dates in the planet area.
Your date of birth, your place of birth and your time of birth if you know them. In addition, your name and email address for your account. For partner, friendship and family analyses, we need the same information from each person involved. For the power location analysis, your place of residence and, if desired, a desired region are added; for the company analysis, the date, time and place of founding of the company are added.
The birth time is the moment when the child is fully born. The midwife or doctor holds him down to the minute. This exact time is entered in the birth register. We are counting on her. This also applies to cesarean sections or induced births: the moment of your birth is always decisive.
Because the sky is moving fast. The ascendant moves one degree every four minutes and changes signs about every two hours. With the time of birth we determine the ascendant and the twelve houses, i.e. the areas of life in which your planets work. Without them, exactly these building blocks are missing, all the others remain intact. The time of birth is essential for the astro map because just a quarter of an hour shifts the lines by many kilometers.
- Birth certificate: Since November 2022, the time has been set to the minute in every newly issued German birth certificate. If you have an older one, you can apply for a new one at the registry office in your place of birth, often online, for a small fee.
- Maternity passport or the yellow children's examination booklet (U-booklet).
- Family: Parents, baby album or the birth announcement from back then.
- Austria and Switzerland: The registry office or civil registry office in your place of birth can provide information.
If you know them to within about a quarter of an hour, tell them, that's enough. If it is less precise, leave it out when ordering: Then we interpret everything that can be determined with certainty without the time and forgo an estimated ascendant. If you still want to narrow down your ascendant, calculate your radix in the free calculator using the earliest and the latest possible time. If both show the same sign, your ascendant is fixed.
Less than many people think. Most planets are in the same sign all day long. Their aspects to each other also remain the same. The ascendant and the twelve houses remain open. If a celestial body changes sign on your birthday, most commonly the moon, we leave this sign open instead of guessing. Your analysis remains comprehensive and precise. Only the astro card requires the time of birth.
No. Enter the time as it appears in your documents. We automatically calculate the time zone and daylight saving time for your place of birth and year of birth.
Yes. Our location search includes locations worldwide, including small communities. If your location cannot be found, choose the nearest larger one; a few kilometers make little difference to the horoscope. For maximum accuracy, you can also enter the exact coordinates, for example those of the maternity clinic.
Our calculation is accurate to the arcsecond and automatically takes into account the time zone and daylight saving time of your place of birth. Differences on other pages are almost always caused by a different entry of time or location or by a different calculation method. If you are unclear, write to us and we will check it with you.

For each day: moon phase, moon sign, element day (root, leaf, flower or fruit) and whether the sap flow is rising or falling. He also shows 92 activities in seven areas of life on which days are favorable according to the lunar rules and when it is better to wait: garden, body, health, household, crafts, kitchen and animals. The plant lexicon includes 80 cultures with sowing, care and harvest windows. You can plan ahead for up to a year.
According to lunar tradition, as made known by Johanna Paungger and Thomas Poppe: waxing and waning moon, the four elemental days and the ascending and descending stream of sap. We calculate the positions of the moon with astronomical precision. We tested them on hundreds of dates up to the year 2050.
Because there are two ways to divide the sky. Many lunar calendars, including ours, use the twelve equal signs of the zodiac, which are aligned with the seasons. Others, such as the sowing days according to Maria Thun, are based on the constellations in the sky. These are different sizes and are now offset by almost a whole character. That's why the moon is often in a different sign there on other days. Both systems are consistent within themselves. For reliable planning, it's best to stick with one.
For where you live. All times appear in your account's time zone, sunrise, planetary hours and daily limits are calculated for where you live. If the moon changes signs during the day, you will see the exact time. You can change your time zone and location in your account.
Moon phase, moon sign and times apply worldwide and are calculated for your location. The garden calendar is deliberately tailored to Europe because sowing and harvesting are tied to the local seasons. In the southern hemisphere or in the tropics, use the gardening recommendations as a guide and adjust the times according to your climate.
Astromantie's election astrology: It finds the astrologically most favorable time for your project. You choose from 139 life questions in 16 areas, from signing a contract to moving to an important conversation. For each day, the calendar calculates its own value from the moon phase, moon sign, sap flow and the position of the relevant planet. As soon as your birth details are stored, your personal transits will also be included. Retrograde planets, eclipses and the idleness of the moon are included. You can also see the best hour of the day, calculated using real planetary hours for your location.
The lunar calendar follows the moon alone and applies equally to everyone. “Your perfect moment” is personal: it includes all the planets and their position in your birth chart. The lunar calendar is sufficient for the hairdresser's appointment; you use your perfect moment to sign the contract.
You unlock the lunar calendar and “Your Perfect Moment” together: €1.99 for one month or €9.99 for twelve months, paid once each. Without a subscription: The activation ends automatically, cancellation is never necessary. Today's moon with its garden recommendation remains free every day, as well as one momentary question a day with a free account.
Both show you the astrological quality of a day and help you plan planned projects well. You make the decision. For anything that concerns your health, a doctor is always the first port of call. You never postpone urgent treatments because of the moon. If you take important legal or financial steps, you should also consult a specialist.
The Astro map shows which directions your planets face from your place of birth. From there, lines run across the world map, one for each planet. Each represents a life theme such as love, career, money or creativity. If a location is on or near a line, this topic is particularly active there. With “Check location” you can see which lines run nearby for every place in the world.
Because the earth rotates. Every four minutes the lines rotate one degree further. At a distance of 1,000 kilometers, just a quarter of an hour is equivalent to a good 50 kilometers. Without the time of birth, any direction would be possible, which is why we don't show any lines. The more precise the time of birth, the more precise the map.
No, not because of a single line. The astro map is a powerful tool for travel destinations, time outs and the question of why some places are immediately good for you. Your birth chart itself does not change when you move. You make big life decisions with all the factors that go with them.
“The World Map of Your Soul” is the complete interpretation of your astro map as a separate book. It shows you the places and countries where love, work, money and inner peace are particularly activated for you. It also shows the places that are more challenging for you, with maps for each line. Your place of residence is included, and if you wish, a region that particularly interests you. The prerequisite is your time of birth, if possible to within a quarter of an hour.
