Delete account

1. How to delete your account

There are two ways:

• Directly in the logged in account: Log in and open My area → Administration → Account details (astromantie.com/account/#verwaltung). There you will find the button “Delete account”. To be on the safe side, you must explicitly confirm the deletion. It will be executed immediately and irrevocably.
• Alternatively by email: Write to us from the address stored in your account info@astromantie.com with the request for deletion. You can also use this method if you no longer have access to your account. We will then delete your account manually and confirm the deletion to you.

2. What data will be deleted

When deleted, the following personal data is permanently removed:

• Account and access data – Email address, name and password
• Birth data – Date of birth, time of birth, place of birth as well as the coordinates determined from this and the time zone
• Astrological Profile (Radix) – calculated planetary positions, houses as well as sun, moon and ascendant
• Activations – purchased or activated products and subscription assignments to your account
• Cosmic Questions – all the questions you asked and the corresponding answers
• Personal settings – e.g. B. your lunar calendar favorites
• Uploaded files – Documents and images uploaded to your orders
• Reviews – Reviews you submit will be removed or anonymized upon request (please request deletion via email, as the review platform is managed separately)

3. What data we need to keep

We are not allowed to remove certain data immediately despite deleting your account because the law requires us to retain it:

• Invoices and associated order information (Invoice number, amount, date, product purchased): up to 10 years. The basis is the retention obligation under tax and commercial law (§ 147 AO, § 257 HGB).
• Contract-related communication, insofar as it is subject to retention requirements as a business letter, within the same framework.

During the retention period, this data is held exclusively for tax and accounting purposes, is blocked from use and is not processed further. After the legal deadline has expired, they will be automatically deleted.
